Bird Watches
August 5 & 19, 8-9 a.m.
Scotland Run Park, 980 E Academy St., Clayton, NJ 08312

Families are encouraged to attend the bird watches together to explore Scotland Run Park’s nature trail and look for different species of these feathered friends. Co-hosted by the Gloucester County Nature Club, these events are held on the first and third Thursday of every month.

Peach Festival

Kick off National Peach Month at Linvilla Orchards’ annual peach festival. Families are invited to pick their own fruit, take hayrides and train rides, play games and enjoy several other festivities.

Fairies, Gnomes & Trolls: Garden Kingdom House Building Workshop

Lard Dog and the Band of Shy + Larissa Hopwood Band

ZooSnooze

Porch Performance: Colonial Frolick

Performers Stacy Roth and Bob Dupre will present rhymes, songs and riddles from the 17th-to-19th centuries. Featuring a variety of old-fashioned instruments, including penny whistle, limberjack and fife, this is an all-ages, interactive show.

59 ½ Annual Philadelphia Folk Pocket Festival
August 21-22

This year’s special edition of North America’s oldest continuously run outdoor musical festival will include both digital and in-person shows. Kids ages 10 and under will enjoy free admission (or maybe just their parents will) and special children’s activities and performances.

Family Nature Discovery Days: Who Made That Track?

The environmental education team at John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge will teach participants of all ages about the tracks that different animals make at this month’s family-centered activity.

Butterfly Celebration

Local experts Dave and Audrey Harding from Marvelous Monarchs Butterfly Habitat will be sharing information on butterfly rearing and migration at this celebration of everyone’s (or at least most of our) favorite insect. There will also be crafts and butterfly bingo for kids to enjoy.

Langhorne Rotary Pet Fair & Family Fun Day

This year’s Pet Fair and Family Fun Day hosted by the Rotary Club of Langhorne includes a new area for kids with fun activities. There will also be a petting zoo, exotic animal tent and show, pet parade and pet photo booth.
