Soar Like an Eagle: Celebrating America’s 250th

July 11, 11 a.m.-noon | Royersford, PA

Kids can get an up-close experience with the United States’s national symbol, the Bald Eagle, at Upper Schuylkill Valley Park. Attendees will meet the park’s resident eagle, Vega, and learn about how bald eagles hunt, where they live and their history as a U.S. icon.

Butterfly Festival & Old Fashion Picnic

July 11, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. | National Park, NJ

Learn about butterflies at this community event taking place at Red Bank Battlefield, which kicks off with a butterfly release and ends with a parade! Attendees can also tour the butterfly house and enjoy an outdoor picnic lunch.
