Road Trip: Organize the Back Seat

0

With Memorial Day a week away and summer road-trip season hot on its heels, organizing the back seat of the car is probably high on your to-do list. MomSpeaker Darla DeMorrow here shares how she keeps the back seat free from her kids' car clutter.

Planning a road trip with little people in the back seat? Keeping them busy, fed, and organized all at the same time can be quite a challenge. Here’s how I keep my back seat organized.

This zip-top organizer squeezes in between two car seats perfectly. It holds the kids' music, games, wipes, snacks and even a blanket or two. And tissues! Gotta keep the tissues handy!

They can easily reach it from their seats, which isn’t true of all backseat organizers.

I couldn’t find this exact item online, but this High Road Kids Car Back Seat Organizer from Amazon is very similar for under $20.

I love that we can have everything we need in the car, without having it all out in the open. Kids today have some pretty nice gadgets that can be attractive to thieves, so it’s nice to have a place to stash them so they aren’t visible.

What have you found that works well to keep your back seat organized?
