Philly's Broadway Baby

Forget tomorrow. The sun came out two days ago for Philly native Gaby Bradbury, who made her Broadway debut Tuesday evening as Pepper, one of Annie's orphans. Gaby earned her stripes right here, as a former camper and cast member at the Walnut Street Theatre. She's also trod the boards locally at the Wilma Theater and the Kimmel Center.

Here's her Annie Playbill bio:

Gaby Bradbury (Pepper) is originally from Philadelphia and is thrilled to be making her Broadway debut! Regional: Inherit the Wind, Under the Whaleback, The Music Man, Oliver!, Gypsy, A Christmas Carol, the world premiere of Macy’s Yes, Virginia: The Musical, Charlotte’s Web, Babes in Arms, Honk. She participated in an educational video at CHOP’s Center for Autism Research. If you take the kids to New York to see Annie, let us know how you liked the show. We'll be featuring the best of our area's kids' performances in our September issue. Till then, check out the great musicals and plays happening right now in Philly theatre in our daily event listings. Break a leg, Gaby!
