Downtown Philadelphia’s LOVE Park will be the site of a variety of outdoor activities this fall, including attractions for the whole family.
Philadelphia Parks & Recreation recently announced an outdoor Pop-Up Marketplace taking place in LOVE Park on the weekends from October 2-24 featuring a wide variety of local vendors selling items including art, wellness goods, packaged foods and more.
There will also be free programming throughout the month.
Of particular interest to families, Mural Arts Philadelphia will hold all-ages arts activities on October 3 from 1-4 p.m. including fall-themed arts and crafts activities, pumpkin-decorating and sidewalk chalk art.
Another special feature is the LightBox, a four-story light installation from the Klip Collective that will be exhibited outside the Philadelphia Family Court at 1501 Arch St. Every night, programmed LED lights will illuminate the patterned hallways that overlook Love Park. The project is part of Percent for Art, a program that funds public art in Philadelphia.
