It’s festival weekend! Celebrate everything from apples to the Delaware River to local artists at these family-friendly events.

Delaware River Festival
September 24-October 3

Celtic Classic Festival
September 24-26, 305 Conestoga St., Bethlehem, PA 18018

The 34th annual Celtic Classic Festival, presented by the Celtic Cultural Alliance, will have children’s activities, including a fiddle workshop, story time and book giveaway.

Apple Festival
September 25, 8 a.m.-7 p.m.
Linvilla Orchards, 137 W Knowlton Rd., Media, PA 19063

Pick your own apples and check out an apple pie eating contest at this fun-filled day at Linvilla Orchards.

Tree Festival
September 25, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Welcome fall at this tree festival which will include family-friendly programs, kids tree-climbing, live music and food.

Animal Tales: A Puppet Show
September 25, 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
Upper Schuylkill Valley Park, 1615 Black Rock Rd., Royersford, PA 19468

Tucker’s Tales Puppet Theatre will be performing a puppet show about Aesop’s Fables. All ages are encouraged to attend. Come a little early and meet the animals that call the Upper Schuylkill Valley Park home.

Scarecrow Weekend

Fall for the Arts Festival

Curator Fest
