PennDOT’s multimillion dollar bridge rehabilitation project is expected to be completed by June, opening up traffic lanes along 30th and Market streets at 30th Street Station.

The Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival returns (June 4), transforming Franklin Square into a family-friendly celebration of light and a life-sized pop-up story book of Asian culture.

Juneteenth in Center City

The Philadelphia Juneteenth Parade and Festival (June 21) will take over 52nd Street and Malcolm X Park for a celebration of freedom and community for all ages, with a car show, games, face painting, DJs and more.

World Cup Comes to Philly

Philadelphia was selected to host six of the FIFA World Cup games this year, kicking off June 14 with Ivory Coast vs. Ecuador at Lincoln Financial Field and a final game July 4.

Disability Pride Month

Celebrate July’s Disability Pride Month early in Philly with a parade and festivities starting at City Hall June 13; then, enjoy a themed exhibit at National Constitution Center in July.
