This Christmas, in addition to the toys you might have already bought your children, I'd like you to consider a nontraditional gift that gives experiences.

- No batteries needed.
- It doesn't make noise or light up.
- It won't arrive in a box that has your children pestering you about what it is.
No a family membership is the gift that keeps giving. It's the opportunity to go out and explore one of your favorite places again and again, without worrying about admission prices, food and, in some cases, parking. Many of the places are constantly keeping things new with new with new exhibits, new programs; every visit is a new experience.
Many family-friendly attractions allow you to bring food in and several offer free parking to members, so you have an unlimited number of fun opportunities. Get together a few singles for tolls, a bit of gas, and that's all you need for a fun adventure. Your membership, already paid for, takes care of the biggest expense: admission.
