The conference will focus on the value of parents and early childhood education professionals working together to foster child development. Families and caregivers often face the same challenges and milestones, making it important that they collaborate to boost quality early learning. As the community struggles with government cuts to early childhood education programs, it is more important than ever to maximize existing resources.

Keynoters include Salome Thomas-El, Head of School at Thomas Edison Charter School in WIlmington, DE, speaking May 11 on "The Immortality of Influence: Believing Every Child Can Achieve Their Dreams"'; and TV host Bill Corbet, author of the book series Love, Limits & Lessons: A Parent's Guide to Raising Cooperative Kids, whose May 12 topic is "Don't Give Up… You May Be the Onl Hope a Child Has to Grow."

More 2,000 are expected to attend the conference, which is presented by PNC Grow Up Great. Professional development credits will be available for early childhood educators.
