My son is constantly looking for ways to make things from recycling items into something new. He mainly wants the boxes to turn into race tracks, homes for this animals or stations for his train. Not sure about you…but I can only have so many boxes in my basement. I head out after they are in bed to recycle all those re-recycled items. LOL
When I saw this idea for making a sandwich or take out container made of a milk jug I was thrilled. Not only is this a great way to free up space in the recycling bin but I can do this little project with my son. I feel great pride that we recycle as much as we do, but when you re-purpose items it makes you feel even better.
