Here’s what you shouldn’t miss this spring in the Philly area, from the best family-friendly baseball promo days to lots of fun to be had outdoors this season.

Wilmington Blue Rocks Promotional Days

Baseball games make for a fun family day. Visit the Washington Nationals High-A affliate in Wilmington, Delaware, for Pups in the Park (April 28)—a special game where pets are invited!—Education Day (April 29) and Autism Acceptance Night (April 30). Parents and children with sensory needs will appreciate the two sensory suites on the third floor along the third base side that will be available for the April 30 game (which also happens to be Old Timey Baseball Night as well).

National Park Week

It’s National Park Week! Explore the region’s national parks during National Park Week through April 26. A big highlight of the week is Earth Day (April 22). Keep an eye out for educational fun at local parks.

Missing the Beach?

Ocean City, New Jersey, is ramping up activities for families in April and May, including a spring block party perfect for all ages (May 2).
