Family Game Night Ideas

Ready for the Super Bowl on Feb. 7? Before you crowd around the TV to root for your team, cheer each other on during a Family Game Night! Here are some ideas that pack all the fun into 60 seconds or less.

Defying Gravity: All you’ll need is a few balloons. The challenge: Bounce two to three balloons at the same time with your hands tied behind your back, making sure not to let them hit the floor. Who wins? Time it and see who can bounce balloons the longest.

Stack Attack: Try this with two players: Assemble a pyramid of 21 plastic cups, then place then back into a single stack as quick as you can.

Doodle with Noodles: Use spaghetti and penne or rigatoni pasta and mix them together in a bowl. The challenge: Get the penne noodles on top of the spaghetti — without your hands! Who wins? Whoever is first to complete the task.

Breakfast Scramble: Cut up the front of a cereal box into 16 square-shaped pieces, then turn them over. See which family member can beat the clock, putting the puzzle together in 60 seconds or less.

Build a Tower: Use fruits or vegetables to construct a tower. Whoever builds the highest structure in one minute wins the challenge.

Five-Second Rule: Have the family come up with categories (think dog breeds, sports teams, fruits, etc.), and name as many as you can in just five seconds.
