Captain Kidd’s Pirate Day

May 23, noon-4 p.m. | Wilmington, DE

Hosted by the Kalmar Nyckel Shipyard, this day of pirate-themed fun is inspired by the infamous Delaware native Captain Kidd. Attendees are encouraged to dress like pirates to tour historic ships and take part in fun activities.

MuseumFest: Historic District Philly

Five history museums in Philadelphia are waiving admission fees for an afternoon of fun events, including performances, living history demonstrations and a stamp rally.

2026 Memorial Day Parade

May 25, 10 a.m. | Media, PA

This annual Memorial Day features marchers from local community organizations and veterans’ groups, followed by a formal ceremony featuring a musical performance from local singer and songwriter Ashli Rice.
