Purdue Farms, Inc,, has recalled more than 45 tons of Great Value Chicken Nuggets, sold in Walmart stores, according to the U.S. Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).
According to an FSIS announcement, "The company discovered small pieces of blue plastic after receiving consumer complaints. FSIS has not received any reports of injury at this time. Anyone concerned about an injury from consumption of this product should contact a physician."
The nuggets were sold in 1.3-pound bags. The backs of the bags included in the recall have this information:
