A play, dance workshops and a family game day are only some of the Delaware Valley’s offerings for all-ages this weekend.

“Pericles, Prince of Tyre”

Shakespeare in Clark Park is putting on free, outdoor nightly productions of Shakespeare’s “Pericles” this weekend.

Family Game Play!
July 30, 1-3 p.m.

Each family who signs up to play a board game will receive free pizza, wings and refreshments at this event and support local literacy organizations.

Artspirations Tie Dye T-Shirts
July 30, 1-4 p.m.
Upper Darby Township/Sellers Library, 409 Ashland Ave., Primos, PA 19018

Teens entering grades 6-12 are invited to tie dye t-shirts at this drop-in art program running all afternoon.

Bird Walk with Chuck and Emily
July 31, 8-10 a.m.
John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum, 8601 Lindbergh Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19153 

Volunteers will lead participants on a morning educational walk to learn about all the different species of birds at this wildlife refuge.

Philadelphia Dance Day
July 31, 9 a.m.-7:30 p.m.

This day-long festival will have free dance workshops for children.

Franklin Square 15th Birthday Celebration
July 31, 12-4 p.m.
Franklin Square, 6th & Race Sts., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19106

This all-ages event to celebrate 15 years of Franklin Square will feature yoga, dance lessons, crafts storytelling and more.

Family Campfire
July 31, 7:30-9 p.m.
Norristown Farm Park, 2500 Upper Farm Rd., Norristown, PA 19403

All ages are invited to this educational campfire to learn about nocturnal animals, play games, hear campfire stories and make smores.

Gente de Tierra
Aug. 1, 12-6 p.m.
Sankofa Community Farm at Bartram’s Garden, 5400 Lindbergh Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19143

This free community event that centers Black and brown people will include a pop-up library, lawn games, food vendors and much more.
