Happy Hanukkah! The Philadelphia area has plenty of Hanukkah events happening through the rest of the week to celebrate with the whole family.

Boathouse Row Lights

Boathouse Row will be illuminated for Hanukkah from November 28 through December 6. The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia will be leading a virtual program on December 6 at 4 p.m.

Rittenhouse Square Candle Lighting

Center City Kehillah is hosting a community candle lighting on the fourth night of Hanukkah Rittenhouse Square that will be perfect for the whole family. Bring new and gently used clothing items to donate to the Bethesda Project for people experiencing homelessness.

Celebrate Hanukkah at Sesame Place’s menorah lighting ceremony, happening every night at 5 p.m. in Sesame Place Neighborhood. Sesame Street friends will join for a game of dreidel and lessons about Hanukkah.

The Visit Philadelphia Holiday Parade
December 4, 5 p.m.
From 2nd & Market Sts., to City Hall

This brand new event aims to honor a multitude of traditions, celebrating Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas and the Chinese New Year. The parade will include floats, lights, balloons and a marching band running from 2nd and Market streets to City Hall.

Chanukah on the Avenue

Celebrate Hanukkah in South Philadelphia with a community event co-hosted by The South Philadelphia Shtiebel and East Passyunk Avenue. There will be a menorah lighting, live music and other festivities.
