Family Fun Events in the Delaware Valley: Aug. 8-10

There are plenty of cool events taking place in the Delaware Valley this weekend, including a stuffed animal adventure and a bike race for charity.

Stuffed Animal Sleepover: A Museum Adventure for Your Favorite Toy!

Aug. 8-9, 2-5 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday

Send your child’s favorite stuffed animals on an adventure away from home! Participants can drop off their stuffed animals for a special photographed tour, as well as a story time with a Zoom component. Pick up your stuffed animal the next day and create a scrapbook of their adventures! History center admission is included in the ticket price.

Don’t Blink STEM Activity Day

First Tech Challenge Team #14481 Don’t Blink, a student-led robotics team, will be hosting a free event for kids in grades 4-8! Participating kids will create their own mini-robots and can watch demonstrations from the team’s robots.

Ardmore Rock N’ Ride

Take part in a day of family fun for a good cause! The event kicks off with an official USA Cycling bike race and a youth bike race, and the fun continues throughout the day with food trucks, live music and children’s activities. Proceeds benefit Narberth Ambulance Emergency Services.
