MomSpeaker Lindsey Schuster gets her Seuss on, enumerating in verse the countdown of a mother's day.

I spent 25 minutes folding the laundry, Picked up 23 Legos that spilled from the bin, Threw 21 pitches, but got only one hit, I sang 19 verses of "Wheels on the Bus," I said “No” to each kid on 18 occasions, We used 16 pillows to make a fort, It took 14 whole seconds for the kids to find me, I snapped 13 buckles, yet drove only 12 miles, I cherished 10 measly minutes of time alone, At least 8 times, the counter was wiped, Before MOMMY was shouted 6 octaves too high, I wiped 4 hineys and bandaged 3 scrapes, Yes, this is ONE day in the life of a mother, They days are long and exhausting, HOWEVER, Lindsey Schuster is a former elementary school teacher turned stay-at-home mom. Raised with four sisters, her blog Sisters to Sons chronicles the new path she has carved: raising three sons.

[34
3141,23114,2992,885,23115
