With the ideas below, we&rsquo;ll help your family stay active and get creative! You may be amazed at just how much fun you can create with household objects.<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Do-It-Yourself Laser Maze<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/melissacamarawilkins.com\/blog\/something-to-do-yarn-laser-obstacle-course\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"right-justify-pic\" src=\"\/content\/uploads\/data-import\/84497e7d\/Laser20Maze.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Things You&rsquo;ll Need:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Yarn<\/li>\n<li>Tape<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Set-Up:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Scout out the best area in your home for the maze. Hallways are particularly good locations (the narrow space makes it easy to place string across).<\/li>\n<li>Tape the yarn to the walls. Criss-cross the yarn from location to location; alternating from high to low to make the maze more challenging.<\/li>\n<li>When setting up, move from the maze&rsquo;s ending location to the beginning, so as not to trap yourself in the maze. (Though the kids would have fun watching you go through the maze first!)<\/li>\n<li value=\"3\">In addition to the walls, use doorknobs, banisters and other permanent or heavy objects to attach the yarn. Don&rsquo;t use anything that can fall over.<\/li>\n<li value=\"4\">Optional: put a &ldquo;treasure&rdquo; at the end of the maze. Incorporate different colors.<\/li>\n<li>Put in the freezer.<\/li>\n<li>Once frozen, take the containers and run them under warm water to help remove the ice from its container.<\/li>\n<li>Take the pieces of ice outside to create your own ice sculptures by stacking different shapes and colors on top of one another.<\/li>\n<li>If it&rsquo;s not cold enough outside, bring the sculptures inside and place in freezer to freeze them together.
