► Queen Village Art Center opens its doors in Philadelphia with an arts celebration that includes make-and-take projects, music for young children, face painting, food, tours and an appearance by the Mummers.
► Explore puppetry through a live show and a hands-on puppet-making workshop at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia.
► The Wayne Art Center presents free art workshops for kids and parents (or grandparents) to participate in together, along with a live concert from the Atwater-Donnelly Duo.

► Kids and adults can compete against tennis pros at Cherry Hill Health & Racquet Club on Saturday. Todd Martin, Mikael Pernfors and other pros play in a Tennis Classic, participate in a Pro-Am for adults and lead a Junior Clinic.

Families can walk to raise awareness and funds to fight cardiovascular disease and stroke at the American Heart Association's Heart Walk at Citizens Bank Park on Saturday morning. A walk/run to support Alex's Lemonade Stand takes place at Memorial Hall in Fairmount Park on Sunday morning.
