Strawberry season is already underway, and raspberry, blueberry and cherry seasons are right around the corner. Bring the whole family to pick berries at these five Delaware Valley farms, which also offer additional fun attractions for kids.

Linvilla Orchards will hold their annual Strawberry Festival on June 5, but the berries are ready to be picked now. That’s not all the orchard has to offer for family fun; kids will also enjoy exploring the huge play structure at Playland Playground, meeting the animals at the Barnyard and going on a hayrides. Shady Brook Farm

Stony Brook Farm will also host a Strawberry Festival on June 5, 6, 12, 13 and 19 full of family activities including rubber ducky races, backyard games, barnyard animals and much more. Strawberry picking will start on June 2 and run through the 19th.
Johnson’s Corner Farm

The first batch of strawberries are ready to be picked at Johnson’s Corner Farm. Reserve your tickets online for the farm’s pick-your-own hayride. Be sure to check out the Discovery Barnyard and Animal Farm for play areas, go-cart tracks, farm animals and much more.
Hellerick’s Family Farm

This Bucks County farm estimates that their strawberry picking season will begin in early June. But their other attractions for kids including an aerial adventure park, obstacle course and adventure farm are all open now.

Terhune Orchards, where strawberry season has just begun, offers a special Read & Pick Program for young children that combines hands-on farm experience with a story. Terhune also has a barnyard where kids can interact with animals.
