Make a ‘Fundred’ at The Fabric Workshop

Kids and their parents have until early January to draw their version of a “Fundred Dollar Bill” at the Fabric Workshop and Museum, 1214-1222 Arch St., Phila.

Participants are given a blank $100 Fundred template to create their own artwork for display in a Fabric Workshop and Museum gallery.

The creative currency is being collected as part of a national campaign, Operation Paydirt, which seeks to make safe lead-polluted soil that places thousands of children at risk. The project’s intial focus is New Orleans, the nation’s most lead-polluted city.

Locally, the Fundred Dollar Bill project is part of the Fabric Workshop and Museum’s Uncommon Wealth by the People of Philadelphia exhibit.
