Pennington School, The

The Pennington School is a day and boarding school serving students in grades six through twelve. The School's mission states, "The Pennington School is committed to developing individual excellence in all of its students." Since 1838, Pennington has a proud history of inclusion and diversity and today's students hail from over thirty different countries and cultures. It honors its Methodist roots with a weekly chapel that has evolved into a multi-denominational time for reflection. Pennington offers a full range of AP and honors courses, and the Cervone Center for Learning offers extra support to bright students with language-based learning differences. Two special certificate programs in Applied Science and Global studies are also offered. Boarding begins in grade 8.
