“The child is the superstar here at our practice.” says Dr. Sayany. “We believe in interacting with them on a level they are comfortable with, which makes them easy to manage and makes us not seem so scary.” The atmosphere is designed so children will want to return to the dentist. “Children should establish a dental home soon after birth, and this environment makes them comfortable,” Dr. Sayany says. Parents are also encouraged to take an active role in their children’s dental care. “We welcome the parents back into the operatory so we can discuss treatments with them,” says Dr. Cully. “We truly believe in involving the whole family in the process.”
