African American Museum in Philadelphia

Gallery Two of the core exhibit Audacious Freedom: African Americans in Philadelphia 1776-1876 will be of most interest to kids, who can watch and listen as life-size, hi-def projections of historical characters share accounts of life in early Philadelphia. Along the Children’s Wall in the same gallery, younger kids ages 3-8 can follow the lives of three children from the late 18th to the 19th centuries.
