Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay Camps

Did you know that girls with more frequent outdoor experiences are more likely to seek challenges and are better at solving problems? These qualities will help them embark on a lifetime of leadership, both academically and personally. Spending time in nature improves a girl’s concentration and creative reasoning, too! You don’t have to be a Girl Scout to come to camp.

Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay (GSCB) provides camp experiences for girls between the ages of 6-18 in a safe environment where they can try new things, build important skills, confront their fears, and make awesome, lifelong friends. GSCB day camps typically run Monday through Friday, with an option for girls to stay overnight on Thursdays. Overnight resident camp is offered at Camp Grove Point. Camps typically run Sunday through Friday; Half week resident camp runs Sunday through Tuesday.

Girls who live science and technology should check out STEM day camps at Camp Country Center. There’s something for everyone—marine biology, Minecraft, digital media, culinary science, robotics, and more. You’ll also get to try your hand at archery!

At Camp Grove Point, experience everything you could want from a summer camp. Our themed camps cover everything: archery, horseback riding, sailing, kayaking, swimming, Harry Potter, and so much more. Camp Grove Point is also ACA accredited. Girls can also earn badges through many of our camps! Girls entering grades 7-12 should check out our Program Aide and Counselor in Training programs, perfect for girls interested in becoming a counselor in the future or working with children.
