Family Fireside Fun

Jurassic Quest

There’s yet another dinosaur-themed event coming to Philadelphia this weekend. Jurassic Quest is the largest and most realistic dinosaur event. Get the chance to look at over 70 life-like dinosaurs of all ages and take a family photo against a dinosaur backdrop.

Pennsylvania Predators
January 15, 2-3 p.m.

Learn about all the top predators in Pennsylvania from a local park ranger. This educational event for all ages will include information about where predators live and eat as well as a chance to touch animal artifacts.

Superhero Skate
January 15, 2-4 p.m.

Kids are invited to wear costumes and skate with their favorite superheroes on the Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink at Dilworth Park this Saturday.

‘The Wizard of Oz’ Educational Exhibit

The Please Touch Museum’s exhibit on the classic family movie “The Wizard of Oz” is open through Jan. 16. Creating your own tornado, climbing a bouldering wall and viewing a pair of Dorothy’s ruby slippers are only a few of the hands-on, all-ages experiences at this exhibit.

Permian Monsters: Life Before the Dinosaurs
