What should you donate? Nonperishable items with a lengthy shelf life, such as canned fruits and vegetables, canned tuna, chicken or salmon, whole-grain pasta, brown rice, oatmeal, beans, canola or olive oil, low-sugar cereal, popcorn, holiday fare (Stovetop stuffing or canned yams), low-sodium soup, quinoa, honey, granola bars and dried fruit.
