Cartoon Network has opened its first hotel right up the road in Lancaster.

The 159-room, 9-acre complex will be near Dutch Wonderland and include both indoor and outdoor pools, rooms that can be customized for your child's favorite Cartoon Network character and four suites with Adventure Time, Ben 10, The Powerpuff Girls or Steven Universe themes.

"With our character-themed guest rooms and Dream Suites, it’s like having a sleepover…in a cartoon," boasts their website,

After originally projecting a June 2020 opening, the hotel opened Jan. 10 with rooms starting from $169. There are 10 accessible rooms and suites as well as rooms with bunk beds and a choice of showers or tub/shower combos.

The outdoor pool includes a Jake the Dog tower and slide and a Powerpuff Girls splash pad.

There's also an indoor arcade, outdoor movie screen and two retaurants, one of which includes a bar for the grown ups.

If you get the kids away from all that, as well as the exclusive Cartoon Network channels playing on the hotel's TVs, you can get discount passes to Dutch Wonderland next door. Looking for more things to do in Lancaster? Check out our Places to Visit Guide with other nearby family attractions.
