FREE indoor activities to keep the family cool and entertained
Bowling
There are plenty of bowling alleys throughout the area offering programs that get kids, 15 and younger, out of the house and into the lanes for FREE. Many local alleys are teamed up with the Kids Bowl Free program that provides kids with two free games every day of the summer. The Brunswick Zone’s Bonus Zone also offers kids two free games each day and AMF Lanes is holding its Summer Games, where kids enjoy three free games every weekday — with special family-pass discounts that let adults join in the fun, too!
Roller Skating
Keep kids 15 and younger active and entertained when you sign them up for the Kids Skate Free program, where they’ll receive weekly passes for FREE roller-skating sessions (skate rentals not included) on select days and times.

Mall Events
Take the little ones, ages 5 and under, to the Springfield Mall on the first and third Thurs. of each month to join in on the FREE Giggle Gang fun. In July, the gang will enjoy a storytime sing-along with local kids’ performer Allison DeSalvo and summertime arts & crafts with the Community Arts Center.
Venture into a world of play with the FREE Just Mom & Me program presented by the Garden State Discovery Museum the second Thurs. of each month at the Moorestown Mall. In July, little princes and princesses come together for crafts, interactive activities, giveaways and royal treats.
National Geographic Kids teamed up with Deptford Mall to create the FREE Kids Club that provides preschoolers a chance to explore and discover through crafts, snacks, giveaways and special guests via a monthly theme and event. This month’s focus will be on insects.
Adventures, playtime and special discounts are the perks of the FREE Kids Klub. On the second Tues. of each month at Exton Square Mall and the first Wed. of each month at the Plymouth Meeting Mall, kids 10 and under enjoy activities and performances from jugglers, puppeteers and artists.
Start off the first Tues. of every month at the Willow Grove Park Mall’s FREE Morning Club, where parents and kids take part in activities and programs like July’s performance from Tucker’s Tales Puppet Theater.
Magic comes to life during the Disney Store’s FREE Summer Play Days, with interactive events like the Art of Animation, Trivia Time, Story Time and Showtime every day through Sept. 1. Every week, collect a new character button (from Doc McStuffins to Frozen’s Olaf to Marvel superheroes) for extra fun at the following malls: Cherry Hill (NJ), Christiana (DE), Deptford (NJ), Oxford Valley (PA), Montgomery (PA) and Springfield (PA).
