This event provides percussion instrument exploration for kids. Participants will play body percussion, gathering drums, hand drums and auxiliary percussion while identifying, writing and reading patterns of quarter notes and eighth notes. Select buildings will be open for guests to enjoy crafts, live music, hot beverages and holiday treats served by historical clothed interpreters. Visitors can meet Father Christmas in the Country Store. The Country Store will be open and stocked with holiday gift ideas including traditionally-processed wool, artisan crafts for the home, books, jewelry, toys and old-fashioned candy.
