There is nothing like a visit to the National Constitution Center to leave you feeling all patriotic inside, thankful for the sacrifice others have made for the freedoms we have today, and to teach you something new about our country. The National Constitution Center is one of our favorite places to visit in Philadelphia. With so many exhibits and activities, it’s always a great value. But this summer’s $5 After 5pm Thursday makes it an INCREDIBLE VALUE.

- 5 Make & Take Crafts
- Try on a chief justice robe
- Vote for the president
- Take the presidential oath of office
- Check out different representations of the Liberty Bell
- 19 exhibits show films the kids can watch with special headphones. No worries because each screen has two headphones each, so there will be no fighting between siblings.
- Attend the Freedom Rising Show – a must see, so make sure to get the showtimes when you arrive
- Find the New Jersey, Pennsylvania or Delaware state flag or any of the other state flags
- 23 larger screens show films from the History Channel and other sources
- 5 wall-size displays where you can be a part of the conversation by leaving comments on post it notes
- 42 statues you can pose for a picture with in Signer’s Hall
- Sign the Constitution. (At computer terminals in Signer’s Hall, you can register and have a certificate emailed to you.)
- 45 Interactive touch screens let kids and adults learn more about our government and history through games, quizzes, and more
- Plus all the regular exhibits are included. (The Bruce Springsteen exhibit is an additional $5.)

Here’s what else you should know about $5 after 5pm on Thursdays
- The promotion runs until Thursday, Aug. 30.
- On these Thursdays, the National Constitution Center is open till 8 pm.
- Admission is free for children 3 and under.
- You can upgrade your ticket to include admission to the Bruce Springsteen exhibit for an additional $5.
- In certain areas of the National Constitution Center, photography is not allowed. This is due to the nature of the exhibits and that many are "on loan" to the National Constitution Center. Please be respectful of those restrictions and ask a staff member if you are have questions about where pictures are allowed to be taken.
