Sweater weather is in full swing, jack-o-lanterns perch on doorsteps and kids can’t wait to show off their Halloween costumes. Celebrate the season with harvest fun and haunted attractions throughout the Delaware Valley.

Arasapha Farms, Glen Mills

A new hay-bale maze, barnyard bounce, pumpkin jump and gem-mining area join longtime favorites like pumpkin-picking hayrides and duck races.

Cherry Crest Adventure Farm, Ronks
Through Nov. 2; flashlight mazes Fri. & Sat.
Families can take the maze experience into their own hands here, with three routes. The easy path winds along the edges, while the intermediate route requires problem solving. Want to test your navigational know-how? You’ll have to solve a puzzle and answer trivia to find the way out.

Freddy Hill Farms, Lansdale
Sat. & Sun. through Oct.
Hayrides to the pumpkin patch, cornstalk mazes, pony rides, pig races and kids’ crafts are all part of the seasonal mix here.

Froelich’s Farm & Garden, Furlong
Sat. & Sun. through Oct.
Pick pumpkins from the patch, hop on hayrides and the new cow train, find your way out of the maze, stop by the petting zoo and partake in plenty of kids’ activities during fall festival weekends.

Hellerick's Family Farm, Doylestown

The fThe daily fall festival features a 5-acre maze, hayrides, corn-chute slides, pumpkin and squash fields, a tractor-tire climb and tunnel and farm-animal attractions.

Hurricane Hill Farm, Coatesville
Sat. & Sun. through Oct.
The Gladiator-themed maze transports visitors back to ancient Rome, where you’ll take on word games, a picture-find and secret word jumble to find the way out.

After marveling at 100 tons of pumpkins and towering scarecrows in Pumpkinland, climb aboard a hayride to the witch’s house (select Oct. dates) to meet a chatty enchantress who doles out stories, jokes and treats.

Pumpkin harvest weekends boast all the hallmarks of fall fun, from pick-your-own pumpkins and hayrides to farm animal meet-and-greets and a corn maze.

Creamy Acres Farm, Mullica Hill

The place transforms into a real-life nightmare at sunset, but daytime activities such as hayrides, a kiddie maze, pumpkin painting, pedal carts and “straw mountain” appeal to the younger crowd.

Duffield's Farm, Sewell

After a pumpkin-picking hayride, round out the day with the Barnyard Express train, corn maze and BarnBounce.

Treat the kids to barrel-train rides, face painting, mazes, a playground and pumpkin-picking wagon rides.

In addition to U-pick apples and pumpkins, little ones can cut loose in the Discovery Barnyard, complete with pedal carts, a “space net,” climbing rocks and three age-specific play areas.

You won’t leave with goosebumps, but you may be covered in hay. Watch as your tots make their way through 200 bales in the kids’ maze and rummage through piles of straw for goodies in the treasure hunt.

Stop by for special events that include scarecrow-making and pumpkin-painting workshops, or hop on a hayride to the pumpkin patch, with whimsical displays thrown in along the way.

The season-long fall festival features a maze, straw slides, pumpkin jumping, live music and a tractor train.

Hop on a hayride around the farm, navigate the straw maze, relax by a bonfire, pick potential jack-o-lanterns from the pumpkin patch and play in the corn pit.
