A pair of Main Line Talent Show winners, local gals Christina Brennan and Bridget Walsh, grace our cover this month. Here’s a snapshot of these two future stars.

Christina Brennan (left)

18 years old

2014 Merion Mercy Academy graduate; Berklee College of Music freshman

Talent: Guitar and singing

Won for: Her performance of The Animals’ “House of the Rising Sun”

Studied at: The Harcum Music School (guitar) and Willson Vocal Academy (voice), both in Bryn Mawr

Favorite musicians: Bonnie Raitt, Pink, Etta James, Bob Dylan, The Beatles

Professional goal: To write and perform her own songs

Other hobbies:  Co-captained the varsity tennis team; avid reader


Bridget Walsh (right)

9 years old

3rd-grader, St. Katherine of Siena School

Talent: Singing and tap-dancing

Won for: Her performance of “Born to Entertain”

Studies at: Betsy Daily School of Performing Arts, Berwyn

Favorite performers: Adele, Frozen’s Idina Menzel, Dance Moms’ Maddie Ziegler

Professional goal: To go all the way to Broadway

Other hobbies: Swimming and acting
