Aerobatics, formation flying and demonstrations by military and civilian pilots, Wed., Aug. 17, 10:30am-3:30pm over the beaches and boardwalk

Cape May: Harbor Fest

Celebration of seafood and song with crafters, food, exhibits and displays, live music, kayaking and kids’ activities, Sat., June 18, 10am-5pm at and near the harbor and Nature Center (along Delaware Ave. between Wilmington Ave. &
Brooklyn Ave.)

Margate: Beachstock 2011

Free beach day, treasure hunt for kids, surf lessons, volleyball, live music and games, Sat., July 9, 12noon-10pm at the beach at Granville Ave.

Ocean City: Merchants in Venice/Night in Venice

• Merchants and Venice Seafood Festival with seafood, entertainment and rides for kids, Fri., July 15, 5-9pm along Asbury Ave. between 6th & 9th Sts.
• Night in Venice annual boat parade, Sat., July 16, 6:30pm on the bay from Longport Bridge to Tennessee Ave.

Sea Isle City: Skimmer Festival

Flea market with more than 300 vendors, sand sculpting demonstrations and contest, moonbounce, face painting, live music, antique car show and parade and trolley tours, Sat.-Sun., June 18-19, Excursion Park (JFK Blvd. & the beach) and throughout town. Different activities on each day.

Stone Harbor: Crabulous Crab Day

Crab racing, crab cooking, crabbing lessons and hermit crab beauty pageant, Fri., July 29, 10am-3pm at The Wetlands Institute (1075 Stone Harbor Blvd.)

Wildwoods: New Jersey State Barbecue Championship and Anglesea Blues Festival

Food vendors, cooking demonstrations, live blues music and family activities, Fri.-Sun., July 8-10, at 2nd Ave. & Olde New Jersey Ave. and surrounding restaurants in North Wildwood
