Things to remember:

• Call ahead to confirm the open play hours. Many of these attractions also book birthday parties and may not be open to the public during those times.

• Know the rules for bringing outside food (many places don't allow it).

• Socks are required for most jungle gyms, so make sure kids wear them when you visit.

• Pack hand sanitizer or antibacterial wipes to keep kids germ-free.
