Great Camps You Can Still Sign Up For!

Kidz, Ink Camp Wow!

If you haven’t finished your summer plan for the kids yet, you may worry that you’ve missed the chance to register them for stimulating camp experiences. Fortunately, these local camps still have room for more kids to join in the summer fun! They offer a wide range of entertaining and educational activities so your kids’ days will be filled with productive pursuits. No matter what their interests may be, your kids will find something to enjoy within these day, residential and specialty programs.

No boredom allowed!

Action-packed themes like the Olympics and International Week leave no room for boredom at Kidz, Ink Camp Wow! The camp balances structured activities for ages 4-12 with plenty of time for free play. Campers at the locations in Bear, Dover, Middletown and Smyrna, DE, dive into award-winning Summer Bridge activity books to keep their educations moving ahead alongside exciting field trips, sports and swimming activities as well as arts, crafts and picnics.

The camp still has spots available for a few lucky campers, but one word of caution — after camp at Kidz, Ink, your child may wish the summer would last forever!

Fly, splash & learn

Want to fly through the air on a ropes course, harvest organic produce, improve your soccer skills or learn the secrets of wildlife on a 13-acre lake? Summer@Westtown in West Chester, PA, overflows with exciting options in aquatics, outdoor education, the arts, athletics and the sciences for students in pre-K-6th grade. The 600-acre campus provides a dynamic setting where campers can explore, collaborate and discover during either half- or full-day sessions. As part of their tuition, campers enjoy delicious lunches that are made on-site daily.

En garde!

Fencing Academy of Phila., Inc., has been training fencers ages 8+ for over 25 years. The coaches give each child personal attention while demanding the best. Your child can take two weeks of intensive half-day training in July at either the Philadelphia or the Wyncote, PA, location that lead to August pre-season camps in Wyncote.

Grow and explore

Ramah Day Camp offers a fun, dynamic and enriching summer camp experience for children entering pre-K through current 7th graders. Their campers enjoy a summer of growth, exploration, excitement, friendships, learning and lots and lots of fun! Located on a beautiful, tree-lined campus in Elkins Park, PA, the camp provides a full range of programming in a nurturing, safe environment that brings Judaism alive in fun and engaging ways.

All smiles

Giving a parent the gift of a smiling child at the end of every day is the primary goal of every Friends’ Central School Summer Program at two locations in Wynnewood, PA. With offerings for boys and girls ages 3-17, the program provides a variety of activities to ensure that each child will find his or her passion.

Under the big top

Camp Kef’s Circus of the Kids is the most unique camp on the Main Line. This one-week experience in Wynnewood, PA, has campers flying on a trapeze, breathing fire and more. No experience or skill needed. Campers perform a full circus at the end of the week. They also swim each day and spend time in normal camp bunks throughout the week. Must be seen to believe!
