New in 2016 - The Westtown Science Institute will host The National Young Innovation Conference
June 19 - 25
Rising grades 6-8 engage in week-long immersive STEM experiences in hardware and software development, team-building and developing innovative solutions to challenges. The convention features an incubator modeled format; where upon enrolling, subscribed students begin to develop ideas to pitch during the program. A start-up grant will be awarded to the team (or teams of students) who develop and execute the best pitch during the week long conference. Residential and Day Student options available.
At the core of the Westtown Science Institute lies an inquiry-driven, immersive learning environment in the lab, on campus, and in the world, where students learn by working in collaborative teams to create innovative solutions that generate authentic products.
Day programs include Lightsaber Construction (NEW), Lego Robotics, Minecraft Coding, Microprocessors & more.
