French for Fun Summer Camp is designed to teach young children (ages 4-10) French language skills in a fun environment. No prior knowledge of French is required! The camp runs for three weeks in July, with each week counting as a separate session. Exact dates will be announced on our website in March. Weekly sessions run from 9:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. with childcare available before and after, from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. and from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Children will learn French, immersed in a French-speaking environment, through games and fun activities. They will learn the same way they develop skills in their native language by listening, watching, singing, playing, and expressing themselves. Counselors are native French speakers who all have experience working with children and teaching French within a summer camp environment and/or are members of the faculty at the French International School during the school year. Some of our junior counselors are former French International School students. Once a week, the campers will go on a field trip. Every Friday, you will be invited to see what your children have learned during the week and be part of the fun.
