The Brandywine Zoo is a fun learning center for children of all ages, located in beautiful Brandywine Park, Wilmington, Delaware.
Brandywine Zoo offers indoor/outdoor spring-break and holiday camps, and full and half-day summer camps. For ages 5-13, aftercare is available. Focus is on fun, animals, and learning through live animal presentations, crafts, games, stories, and learning projects.
The Brandywine Zoo is home to animals including eagles, red pandas, African serval, bobcat, condors, burrowing owls, llama, rhea, reptiles, and more to come in 2019! Our animals were born in zoos or are rescues. Every animal has a story and the Brandywine Zoo shares these profiles with children to teach about our role in animal care and environmental conservation. The Brandywine Zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), an earned distinction that marks its commitment to providing excellent care for animals, a great experience for the visitor and a better future for all living things.
The Brandywine Zoo has indoor and outdoor programming throughout the year--although very cold weather may keep some animals off exhibit. The zoo offers programs, workshops, half-day and full-day camps, and special events for children and adults. Check the website for schedule. Become a Brandywine Zoo member and receive discounted CAMP prices at our zoo and discounted admission to other AZA zoos throughout the United States.
