Anthropologists in the Making and Junior Anthropologists Summer Camps

Description:

Journey through time and across continents without leaving Philadelphia! During summer 2019, Penn Museum will offer two distinct summer camp programs that will encourage children to discover world cultures – both past and present – through gallery tours, art-making, games & theatrics, and music & dance guest performances.

Children ages 7-13 who will be entering 2nd-8th grade during the upcoming school year are invited to attend any of our eight unique, week-long sessions such as, “Engineering the Mediterranean” and "Heroes, Giants, and Monsters" available from June 24 to August 16, 9am-3pm. Pre-care and after-care options are available.

Children age 6, who will be entering 1st grade in the upcoming school year are invited to attend our Junior Anthropologists camp, which will feature four unique, week-long sessions such as, “Digging Up the Past” and “Daily Life in Ancient Egypt”. Junior Anthropologists will be available select weeks from July 8 to August 16, 9am-3pm. Pre-care and after-care options are available.
