Anthropologists in the Making Summer Camp at the Penn Museum

Description:

Journey through time and across continents without leaving Philadelphia! During summer 2018, Penn Museum will offer two distinct summer camp programs that will encourage children to discover world cultures – both past and present – through gallery tours, art-making, games & theatrics, and music & dance guest performances.

Children ages 7-13 who will be entering 2nd-8th grade during the upcoming school year are invited to attend any of our eight unique, week-long sessions such as, “Ancient Engineering” and "Unwrapping the Afterlife" available from June 25 to August 17, 9am-3pm. Pre-care and after-care options are available.

Children age 6, who will be entering 1st grade in the upcoming school year are invited to attend our brand new Junior Anthropologists camp, which will feature four unique, week-long sessions such as, “Fables and Folktales” and “Digging Up Rome and Greece”. Junior Anthropologists will be available select weeks from July 9 to August 17, 9am-3pm. Pre-care and after-care options are available.
