Night Flight: Nesting

Date/Time

Mar 16, 2019
05:30 PM until 08:00 PM

Description

Spring has us thinking about Home Improvement…er, Nest Improvement, if you’re a bird. Discover nesting and housekeeping behaviors some birds use to “remodel,” improve or prepare their nest for expanding their family. Architecture, materials, location, surrounding, defense, camouflage, and more are all things to consider when you are bird parents to be! Live bird encounters and interactions; bird home-building games and crafts; and concession sales (including adult beverages of wine and beer). Night Flight: Nesting is part of a year-long series featuring Animal Behavior & Conservation Connections.
