Mama Mac has been making music with young children for the past 15 years. She is currently a music specialist at the Gateway School and the Kaiserman JCC. Mama Mac is also an award-winning songwriter and performer, entertaining children at Philadelphia’s Please Touch Museum, The Colonial Theater in Phoenixville, The New Leaf Club, Jibber Jazz Music Festivals and The Kibbitz Room in Los Angeles. She has also released two award-winning children’s albums as well as a sing-along book and animated video (available on Itunes, Amazon and YouTube and www.MamaMac.net).
Chana Rothman is a Philly-based singer/songwriter/educator. Her most recent album, Rainbow Train, is a danceable revolution of tunes about freedom of gender and self-expression for children and people of all ages. Kathy O'Connell of XPN's Kids' Corner says it "delivers its message of freedom brilliantly." In her travels throughout the country and world, she uses music as a form of connection, justice, and community building. She makes music locally (her home with her 3 kids; World Cafe Live; Gershman Y) and globally, having traveled to Israel, Germany, South Africa and England as a touring musician.
