History Hunt, Family Hike & Journal Making

Date/Time

Apr 22, 2017
01:00 PM until 03:00 PM

Description

This Earth Day program incorporates a history hunt designed for families (with kids ages 7 and older) to work together as teams on a guided hike.

The journey of discovery begins at the historic Gatehouse, where participants will create personalized journals filled with clues, riddles and maps.

Then you’ll go outdoors to explore the oldest section of the cemetery following the clues from the journals. Who will be the first to spot the giant stone microphone? Who is buried in a cave? Can you find the big frog? If you walk 10 paces from point A, turn left and look up, what will you see? Fun facts will be shared throughout.
