Feb 10, 2018 to Feb 11, 2018
11:00 AM until 05:00 PM

Description

Join a costumed interpreter at his easel in Patriots Gallery for demonstrations of watercolor techniques mastered by Pierre Charles L’Enfant and other artists during the Revolutionary War. Ask about the colors and tools in his watercolor box to inspire your own landscape drawing. Nearby, play a game of I-Spy-in-the-Watercolor, matching historical reproduction objects with similar items that L’Enfant saw at Verplanck’s Point, New York.
