Go: The Surrounding Game

Date/Time

Sep 14, 2017
04:00 PM until 05:30 PM

Description

Go is the oldest surviving board game still played in its original form, from China, over 4,000 years ago. It's a strategy game so simple one can play it after just a few minutes; yet so complex it contains more possible moves than the total number of atoms in the observable universe.

The objective of Go is to encircle an opponent's stones and surround and defend the largest territory on the board. If you like to paly chess and are looking for an extra challenge, are interested in Asian cultures and arts, or just want to relax, then this event might be for you.

This event will continue on Thursdays from 4-5:30pm. Check the library’s online calendar for updates/changes.
