Apr 20, 2019
07:00 AM until 11:00 AM

Clean Air Council is proud to host its 38th annual Run for Clean Air, sponsored by Toyota Hybrids. The event will take place on Saturday, April 20, 2019 – two days before Earth Day. More than 1,500 runners will take part in four different races – 10K Run, 5K Run, 3K Walk and Kids’ Fun Run. Runners around the country will also have a chance to support Clean Air Council and celebrate Earth Day through a Virtual 5K race in the week before and after Earth Day.

The 10K Run, 5K Run and 3K Walk will follow Martin Luther King Drive along the scenic banks of the Schuylkill River. The event will once again be a zero-waste event and an AFitPlanet-certified green run. Clean Air Council is utilizing solar generators, recyclable run bibs, paperless on-site registration and t-shirts printed with sustainable inks to minimize the environmental impact. Attendees are encouraged to walk, bike or take public transportation to the event, and Clean Air Council will provide a free bike valet.
