The 7-mile Swamp Forest Trail encircling Delaware’s largest freshwater pond gives Lum's Pond State Park hikers the chance to explore habitats. Other trails include a short Sensory Loop boardwalk, a .8-mile Life Course Trail with 20 fitness and stretching stations and the 8.1-mile packed earth Little Jersey Trail. The park’s 1,790 acres lie along the north side of the Chesapeake & Delaware Canal.
