Birding & Bagels

Join Riverbend and the Valley Forge Audubon Society, to search Riverbend’s various ecosystems for nests and breeding birds such as the Baltimore oriole, Eastern bluebird and tree swallow. Bring binoculars if you have a pair. There will be bagels, muffins and socilizing before and after the walk.

During a child safety seat check, child passenger safety technicians will teach you how to correctly transport your children and to make sure that everyone in the vehicle is buckled up on every ride. Additionally, there will be photo-opportunities, family fun activities, information booths and many giveaways!

Discover the basics of outdoor top rope climbing.  Get harnessed up and climb on our natural rock wall, after a brief introduction of equipment, climbing and safety. Helmets, harness and ropes provided.  Park staff will instruct, guide, and belay all climbers.  Children under 18 must be accompanied by parent.
